Serves as a Web Designer/Front-End Developer responsible for wireframing, prototyping, developing, testing and validating HTML5 pages using CSS, JavaScript and jQuery standards with semantic markup and special considerations, such as Responsive/Adaptive Web Design for all major desktop browsers (including mobile WebKit browsers), using appropriate graphics and established style guidelines, usability best practices, and Section 508/WCAG accessibility requirements.

Manages and maintains numerous websites, including PubWeb (federalreserve.gov), Inside the Board, and other Board internal and external websites, making updates as requested by clients and ensuring timely turnaround of edits, corrections, and design changes and improvements.

Led efforts in the PubWeb redesign process to develop RWD templates for the News & Events section and all the Publications and Reports pages. Drafted and implemented coding and navigation standards backed by research of best practices in UX and web standards to drive the development process. This high-profile and complex project extended over long periods of time, working closely with accessibility specialists, public info officers/editors, back-end programmers for the CMS to accomplish these final templates to be implemented into the future launch of the redesign.

Integrated new web technologies such as HTML5 video/players to replace Flash video/players with WebVTT caption technology for both the PubWeb redesign and Inside the Board websites, collaborated with IT to migrate ColdFusion search application to new Sharepoint search application within the Inside the Board internal website.

Designed the content management process for DCS, including specifications, workflow, operating procedures, file naming and submission.

Introduced and trained Press/Prepress department to ensure adherence to ISO standards for 4-color print production.

Tested and evaluated inks and substrates and calibrated digital halftone color proofing system to match for color.
