  1. SEC.gov Homepage Redesign - First redesign accomplished in February 2016, and most recent redesign in August 2017, where involved in collaborative team effort for the creation and implementation a fully responsive mobile page in Drupal 8, creating static content blocks and views which pull dynamic content throughout the various page regions.
  2. Office of the Whistleblower Site Migration - The project consist of converting multiple pages within SEC.gov consisting of complex table views and dynamic blocks of which all created along with various content migrated and completed in September 2017. The end results enabled the office staff to perform their own updates within the Drupal CMS with the accompanying standard operating procedures and training provided.
  3. Financial Reporting Manual - The project consisted of a 500-page Microsoft Word/PDF manual updated and posted quarterly into a fully searchable and printer friendly HTML pages with a Table of Contents, using the GSA Search.gov tool and consisting of over 40 responsive complex data tables, utilizing Tablesaw JS, all implemented into the Drupal CMS. The project started with a small scale prototype to display layout and elements of topic pages, table of contents/index pages, and responsive table formatting before HTML conversion of the entire document. Successfully utilized the remainder of funding resources on the FY17 contract by coordinating detailed technical instructions and prototype to the contractor performing the HTML conversion along with periodic consultations throughout the project to keep the progress inline with the fiscal deadline and budget.
  4. SEC News Media Gallery - Recommended, tested and implemented the use of the MediaBox JS plugin in order improve and showcase our internal/external outreach of our graphic, video and photo resources throughout SEC.gov and also utilized throughout other pages on SEC.gov.

Developed standard procedures for various web-related functions, such as various "How To" guides for site editors and content creators to update/populate pages using Drupal, or a flexible system to easily change and re-arrange a page of photos and links. Created knowledge-sharing training materials such as a setup guide of procedures for other designers/developers to use task runner tools for responsive web layout grid system, and procedures for our monthly Drupal release updates, using both Atlassian SourceTree software and Terminal/Command line equivalents for Git commands.

Organizing sprint meetings in order to coordinate and communicate within the Office of Public Affair's Digital Team and to leadership about projects/requests and facilitated the use of JIRA’s Project Management software to keep track of assignments tasks, bugs and improvements, as well as tracking progress or history and reporting accomplishments.

Implemented an updated ForeSee survey on SEC.gov through collaboration with vendor and staff, tailoring an additional survey for mobile/tablet devices in efforts to collect qualitative and quantitative data on customer user experiences and satisfaction rates in order to monitor and improve the website customer experience.

Continuously updating the SEC.gov Modernization CSS Style Guide to implement branding components easily available through embedded code snippets as well as expanded our icon library by incorporating Fontello, an SVG icon library system allowing for use of multiple font icon libraries with webfont fallbacks as well as custom icon integration.

Recommended the implementation of GZip compression on our web servers which led to a 40% decrease in page load speed across SEC.gov, bringing the average maximum page load time to 3 seconds.

Provided consultation and served as an advisor for Investor.gov on complex procured projects such as the Investor.gov’s Understanding Your Brokerage Account Statement interactive tool and Crowdfunding calculator, the new EDGAR full text search platform, and other various projects within the SEC.

Led efforts in the public facing website (federalreserve.gov) redesign in developing new mobile responsive templates for the header, footer, various menu and navigation components and content area. Drafted and implemented coding and navigation standards backed by research of best practices in UX and web standards to drive the development process. This high-profile and complex project involved working closely with accessibility specialists, public info officers/editors, back-end programmers for the CMS to accomplish these templates to be implemented into the new website launch. Attended and participated in monthly sprint sessions consisting of sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews/demos and retrospectives through the duration of this project.

Integrated new HTML5 video/players to replace Flash video/players with WebVTT caption technology for both the PubWeb redesign and Inside the Board websites, collaborated with IT to migrate ColdFusion search application to new Sharepoint search application within the Inside the Board internal website.

The project consisted of defining, measuring and analyzing the major areas of passport manufacturing waste and identifying a different OEM replacement part on the assembly line which reduced a significant amount of waste, saving the agency $700,000 dollars annually.

Conceived Digital Conversion Services (DCS) Department and oversaw 20 staff to convert printed materials into digital print and web deliverables, which included writing operating procedures and training materials for workflow and file naming/submission process.

Introduced and trained Press/Prepress department to ensure adherence to ISO standards for 4-color print production and implemented a PDF/X workflow, training operators in Best Practices for high quality print production.
